Erb’s palsy lawsuit filed in Illinois

The parents of a child born with a brachial plexus injury have filed an Erb’s palsy lawsuit in Illinois against the doctor who performed the delivery. Christy and Dennis Hartmann say that Dr. Diana Peterson was negligent for failing to use proper delivery methods for their daughter, Chrisden, causing her to suffer a brachial plexus injury.

Virginia jury awards $1.8M verdict in birth injury lawsuit

Erb’s palsy lawsuit in Pennsylvania settled for $3M

October 6th, 2004

An Erb’s palsy lawsuit filed on behalf of a boy who died in 2000 at age 4 has been settled for $3 million. The suit, filed in 1996 by Patrick and Christine Lombardo for their son Jonathan, alleged that medical personnel at Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania were responsible for his birth defects.
