Andrew J. McEnaney attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors in 1994. Continuing his education at the University of Florida, Andrew specialized in all aspects of federal taxation, receiving his J.D. in 1997.
Andrew moved to Houston, Texas in 1998, becoming a staff associate of a Big Five accounting firm focusing his efforts in mergers and acquisitions, corporate taxation and tax controversies.
In 2001, leaving transactional work behind, Andrew joined Hissey, Kientz & Herron, P.L.L.C. in Houston, Texas as an associate in their mesothelioma and asbestos docket.
From 2004 to 2007, Andrew worked, both as an associate and of counsel, with several plaintiffs’ toxic tort firms throughout Texas, allowing him to create an invaluable and indispensable network of contacts in the field.
In 2008, Andrew came full circle, returning to Hissey Kientz, L.L.P. in Austin, Texas as a senior associate managing their mesothelioma and asbestos docket.
Andrew is licensed to practice in the states of Texas, Florida and Arkansas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the U.S. Tax Court.
